Project overview
Arthur Street is located off Turuturu Road on the north side of Hawera, in an area characterised by rural properties and smaller rural-lifestyle blocks on the northeast periphery of the township. The landowner sought to create three additional rural-lifestyle allotments of 1800m² each on the western side of Arthur Street.
McKinlay Surveyors managed the full scope of work required to bring the subdivision to completion. This included preparing the resource consent application, carrying out all surveying and land transfer requirements, and providing ongoing support to the landowner through consultation with South Taranaki District Council to secure approval of the required survey and civil works.
Project results
The subdivision was successfully consented and completed, resulting in three new rural-lifestyle allotments ready for transfer. Our hands-on support throughout the council consultation process helped the landowner navigate the requirements with confidence, ensuring a smooth and timely approval. By managing both the technical surveying work and the consent process, we were able to provide the landowner with a seamless, single-point-of-contact experience from start to finish.
