Project overview
The Glover Road subdivision in Hawera is a 7-lot residential development accessed via a shared right-of-way that separates the site from the adjoining industrial area. The site includes a number of mature trees and a low-lying wetland, both of which are being retained and enhanced as part of the development.
McKinlay Surveyors is delivering a comprehensive scope of services across the project, including all surveying and land transfer requirements, civil design for services and lot access, and contract supervision throughout construction. We are also supporting the developer through ongoing consultation with South Taranaki District Council to ensure all survey and civil works receive the necessary approvals.
Project results
The project is progressing well, with McKinlay Surveyors providing end-to-end support across both the technical and regulatory aspects of the development. Our civil design and contract supervision has helped keep construction on track, while our council liaison work has ensured the approvals process has run smoothly. The careful retention and enhancement of the site's mature trees and wetland reflects a development that balances growth with environmental responsibility.
